Route 1 — Kitchen renovations and design

Full and partial kitchen rebuilds. The renovator planning a $25,000 to $80,000 kitchen project — Hamptons, shaker, modern handleless, French provincial, transitional or coastal — designed and installed across Greater Adelaide.

Route 2 — Custom cabinetry and joinery

Made-to-measure cabinetry for the rooms a kitchen renovation doesn’t always reach. Butler’s pantries, walk-in wardrobes, built-in robes, laundries, bathroom vanities, entertainment units. Built in our SA workshop, not imported, not flat-pack.

• Custom cabinetry — the cabinetry-only buyer. Pillar service covering kitchen cabinetry, bathroom vanities and bespoke joinery for the rest of the home.
• Butler’s pantry design and build — galley, U, walk-through, double-galley layouts. Twelve layouts that work in Adelaide homes.
• Walk-in wardrobes — eight layout patterns, hanging and drawer ratios, lighting and mirror placement, three cost bands.
• Laundry cabinetry — laundry-as-utility through to laundry-as-room. Stone, laminate or timber benchtop options.

Route 3 — Surfaces, splashbacks and specialty

Stone benchtops, splashbacks, sinks and tapware, outdoor kitchens. The buyer with a partial scope — just the bench, just the splashback, just the alfresco — converts on a focused page rather than waiting for a full design consult.

• Stone benchtops — quartz, porcelain, sintered stone, low-silica engineered, granite. Templated and fabricated in Adelaide.
• Splashbacks — glass, tile, full-height stone, mirror, pressed-tin. Coordinated with the bench so the joints actually meet.
• Outdoor kitchens — built-in BBQ benches, full prep zones, fully fitted alfresco kitchens, integrated indoor-outdoor flow. Weatherproof cabinetry and UV-rated surfaces.
• Engineered stone (post-2024 ban) — the regulatory landscape since 1 July 2024, the safer alternatives, and what we install in 2026.

How quoting works across all three routes

The quote process is the same regardless of which route you arrive on. Free 60-minute consultation, on-site or in the showroom by appointment, in which we measure, photograph and brief. A written cost band lands the same week. A 3D design plan, finishes board and fixed-price quote follow inside two weeks. Deposit only on signed quote.

Three cost bands cover the bulk of Adelaide work:

• Entry / refresh — $4,000 to $25,000 depending on scope. Single-zone cabinetry, replacement doors and benchtops, splashback only, single-bench outdoor BBQ.
• Mid-tier / full — $15,000 to $45,000. Full-room cabinetry, mid-spec benchtop, splashback, sink and tapware, integrated appliance coordination, butler’s pantry retrofit.
• Premium / custom — $45,000 to $80,000+. Bespoke cabinetry, premium stone, integrated appliances, structural change, fully fitted alfresco.

Cost bands published on every service page are based on Adelaide 2026 supply pricing and the Master Builders SA / HIA / Houzz state-of-data ranges. Frequently asked questions

Do I need a different operator for cabinetry vs benchtops vs install?

No — Kitchen Fox covers all three under one quote. Cabinet-makers and joiners both produce cabinetry; the distinction matters less than the question of who coordinates the install. Can you do just a benchtop?

Yes. Benchtop-only jobs are quoted as their own scope — templating, fabrication, install, with the existing cabinetry retained. See stone benchtops.

Do you do flat-pack kitchen installs?

We don’t ship flat-pack as our default — our cabinets are made-to-measure in the SA workshop. We can install a flat-pack kit you’ve sourced (IKEA, Kaboodle) on request, but the warranty on the cabinetry sits with the supplier in that case, not with us. Read more — flat pack kitchens explained.

What about the engineered-stone ban?

High-silica engineered stone has been prohibited Australia-wide since 1 July 2024. Low-silica engineered stone, porcelain, sintered stone, natural stone and granite remain legal and are what we install. See engineered stone in 2026 for the full breakdown.

Do you cover outdoor kitchens with structural work?

Yes. Outdoor kitchens often involve pergola, plumbing, gas and structural work that needs council approval. We coordinate the development application and the certifier sign-off as part of the project. See outdoor kitchens.
