How to reach us

  • Phone — 0485 024 211 — best for a 10-minute initial conversation. We’ll confirm the consultation slot with you.
  • Quote form — the in-page form below routes straight to our scheduling pipeline. Project type, suburb and brief description are the fields that matter; budget band is optional. It’s also the best place to send project briefs, photos, plans and floor sketches.

Consultations — by appointment

Consultations are in-home and by appointment. Each one runs about 60 minutes, so we book a time that suits you rather than running drop-in hours. When we confirm, we’ll let you know what’s useful to have ready (a rough floor sketch, photos of the existing kitchen, any inspiration images you’ve saved).

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday — 8:00am to 5:00pm.
  • Saturday — 9:00am to 1:00pm, by appointment.
  • Sunday — closed.

What to expect from a first consultation

The first consultation is a working meeting, not a sales pitch. Sixty minutes, in your home, with a Kitchen Fox designer.

  1. The brief. What you’re trying to do, what’s working in the existing kitchen, what isn’t, what’s non-negotiable. We’ll ask about your weekday cooking pattern, weekend entertaining pattern, kids and pets, storage gaps. The brief shapes everything that follows.
  2. The measure. We measure the existing space — every wall, opening, services run, ceiling height.
  3. The cost band. Before you leave, we tell you the band the project most likely lands in — small refresh ($15k to $25k), full mid-tier ($25k to $45k), or full custom ($45k to $80k+). The band shapes the scope of what we’ll quote in detail.
  4. The next step. A 3D plan and finishes board come back inside two weeks. The fixed-price written quote follows. You only pay a deposit once the quote is signed.

No deposit at consultation. No obligation to proceed. The consultation is free — we’d rather earn the job on the design than on a captive customer.

Service area

Greater Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills and the Fleurieu Peninsula — from Gawler in the north to Sellicks Beach in the south, and east to Mount Barker. Regional South Australia (Barossa, Mid North, Riverland, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island) is quoted on enquiry.

See the locations index for the suburb pages we publish dedicated cost and style guidance for.

Frequently asked questions

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. Sixty minutes, in-home, no deposit, no obligation. The cost band and the design plan are produced before any deposit is taken. We invoice for the design and detailed fixed-price quote only when you sign and want us to proceed.

How quickly can you start?

Most cabinetry-only jobs are scheduled within four to six weeks of signed quote. Full kitchen renovations typically book six to eight weeks out. Outdoor kitchens vary depending on council approval lead times. We tell you the realistic start date in the written quote — we don’t pretend the schedule is empty when it isn’t.

Do you take regional South Australia jobs?

Yes. Headline radius is 50 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD, but regional jobs (Barossa Valley, Riverland, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Fleurieu) are quoted on enquiry rather than auto-declined. The economics work for kitchen jobs in a way they don’t for trades that callout daily — a larger kitchen project spreads the travel cost over a handful of visits.

Do you do outdoor kitchens with council approval?

Yes. Outdoor kitchens often need council approval where pergola, structural extension, plumbing or gas installation applies. We coordinate the development application, the building rules consent and the certifier sign-off as part of the project — you’re not running between council, certifier and trades yourself.

Can I see examples of the styles you build?

Yes. The services pages and our style guides carry the cost guidance and the design-style breakdown, and at the consultation we bring door, hardware and stone samples so you can see finishes in your own kitchen’s light.
